Degroshi is a registered Monobank provider, so there's nothing to type. You confirm the request in the bank's app and pick the accounts, and from then on new transactions arrive on their own.

What gets imported

The accounts you chose: cards, jars and ФОП accounts
Balances as your own funds, without the credit limit
Statements: amount and currency, the amount in the operation's currency, merchant, MCC, commission, cashback
History for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, as you choose. Transfers between your own cards are paired into one transfer

What the app can't do

Transfer money, pay, or open or close a card: a provider's access is read-only
Learn your password, PIN or CVV: they are in neither the request nor the bank's answer
Read accounts you didn't pick: the app only knows they exist

Sync

Monobank pushes new transactions at once through a webhook, and they show in the feed a moment later.
A full reconciliation with the bank runs hourly, or every 6 hours while the webhook works.
The balance is always the bank's: the latest account snapshot sets it, not our arithmetic.
Holds update when the bank settles them, and a released hold disappears.

How to connect

In Degroshi choose “Connect Monobank”. The app creates an access request in Degroshi's name, so there are no tokens to type.
Open the request: scan the QR code on a computer, or tap the button that opens Monobank on a phone. The bank's app shows who the request is from, and you confirm it there.
For each account choose what to do: create a new one, link a manual one or skip it. Jars and ФОП accounts can be connected too.
Choose how far back to import history and watch it load. From then on everything arrives by itself.

How to disconnect

Disconnect Monobank in Settings and the access is deleted, while accounts and transactions stay as manual ones. You can also revoke the access in the Monobank app; Degroshi then offers to reconnect.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a token from api.monobank.ua?

No. We don't accept personal tokens at all: the connection works only through the official API for services, where you confirm the access in the bank's app.

How is my credit limit counted?

The balance is shown as your own funds: the balance minus the limit, as in Monobank. A card with a limit becomes a credit card, and you see how much is available on it.

What if I delete an imported transaction?

It stays deleted: the next sync won't bring it back. A changed category or description isn't overwritten either.

How much history can I import?

Up to 12 months back: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, or from a date of your choice. The latest month arrives first, then the older ones.
